Winter break is just a few days away! So I went in search of great ideas for families to do during the break. Have you ever been caroling? Head over to Washington Square Arch from 5-6 p.m. on Christmas Eve to join in on the fun! Follow this link for more information. Check out some of the other awesome events I found for families to do during the holiday season.
- FAO Schwarz is back and now located at Rockefeller Center
- New York Hall of Science GingerBread Lane Exhibit
- Queens County Farm Museum’s Holiday Open House Wednesday, December 26–Friday, December 28
The two websites I really like for families are Time Out for Kids and Mommypoppins. Below are links for I found on both websites with things to do over the holiday break.

Time Out for Kids – 50 Things to do over the Winter Break
Mommypoppins – Things to do over Holiday Break with NYC Kids

And of course I have to include my favorite winter activity, Ice Skating! Follow this link for a list of ice skating rinks in the 5 boroughs. If you are more inclined to roller skate, follow this link from Mommypoppins for indoor roller rinks.
Wishing everyone a most amazing, safe and especially fun winter break!
