Mrs. Dykeman assigned our 4th grade students a study on Georgia O’Keeffe, an American artist whose most famous for her paintings of flowers and the New Mexican landscape. Students were asked to research her work, to write essays on their impressions of her paintings and then to choose a painting they would like to reproduce. The medium our 4th grade students used to create their artwork were pastels and ink.This is just a sampling of the amazing work our 4th grade students did.
